Scientific name: Chelidonium majus

Dimensions:
    Flower: 1/2-3/4" (1.5-2 cm) wide
    Plant height: 1-2' (30-60 cm)

Blooming period: April-August

Habitat: Moist ground, wood edges, weedy places

Description: Deep yellow flowers in small umbels. Sepals (2) drop off as flower opens; 4 petals. Leaves 4-8" (10-20 cm) long, alternate and divided into several irregularly lobed leaflets. Poppy family. (July 18)
