Scientific name: Dalibarda repens

Dimensions:
    Flower: 1/2-3/4" (1.5-2 cm) wide
    Plant height: Creeper - flower stalks 2-5"
    (5-12.5 cm)

Blooming period: June-August

Habitat: Swamps, boggy areas, moist woods

Description: White, erect flower with numerous stamens on each reddish, leafless stalk; 5 petals; flowers barely taller than the leaves. Stem low, creeping. Leaves 1-2" (2.5-5 cm) long, heart-shaped, dark green, finely scalloped. Rose family. (July 11)
