Scientific name: Antennaria neglecta

Dimensions:
  Flower: ¼-½" (7-15 mm) long   Plant height: 4-12" (10-30 cm)

Blooming period: April-May

Habitat: Dry fields, open slopes

Description: A common plant, usually with several white flower heads in a close cluster terminal on a single stem. Male and female flowers have different types of heads on different plants - female heads tend to be fuzzier. Basal leaves are spoon-shaped or narrowly oval, 1-2" (2.5-5 cm) long, with one main nerve and hairy underneath, sparsely hairy on top. Composite family. (May 15)
