Scientific name: Erigeron canadensis

Dimensions:
  Flower: 1/8-1/4" (3-6 mm) wide
  Plant height: 1-7' (30-210 cm)

Blooming period: July-October

Habitat: Fields, roadsides, weedy places

Description: Clusters of tiny greenish flowers with short white rays rise from upper leaf axils; rays compressed, do not spread; yellow disk flowers numerous. Leaves 1-4" (2.5-10 cm) long, dark green, linear or narrowly oval, toothed or toothless, slightly hairy. Stem erect, bristly-haired. Plant foul smelling. Aster family. (July 30)
