Dimensions:
    Flower: 1/4-1/2" (8-15 mm) wide
    Plant height: 8-20" (20-50 cm)

Blooming period: May-September

Habitat: Fields, meadows and roadsides

Description: Many small flowers on terminal, diffuse panicles; petals slightly longer than the sepals; 5 2-cleft petals; 5 separate sepals. Leaves lanceolate, broader near base, 1/2-1½" (1.5-4 cm) long. Pink family. (May 27)
