Common name: Lily of the Valley

Scientific name: Convallaria majalis

Dimensions:
    Flower: 1/4-3/8" (8-10 mm) wide
    Plant height: 4-10" (10-25 cm)

Blooming period: May-June

Habitat: Escaped from gardens to meadows and roadsides, open woods and thickets

Description: Nodding, fragrant bell-shaped flowers on loose, one-sided racemes. Leaves 2-3, narrowly elliptic with pointed end, 6" (15 cm) long with parallel veins. Lily family. (May 31)
