Habitat: Weedy places, roadsides, yards
Description: Daisy-like white flowers with dome-shaped yellow central disk; normally 10-16 rays; flower heads on short stalks. Leaves 1-2 1/2" (2.5-6.5 cm) long, 2-3 times pinnately divided, fern-like. The leaves have a very disagreeable odor and equally disagreeable
taste. A native of Europe it is now a common weed. Its leaves may cause skin irritation when handled. The common name Stinking Chamomile derives from its resemblance to the plant from which chamomile tea is made. Aster family. (September 27)
