Field Mustard

Common name: Field Mustard

Scientific name: Brassica rapa

Dimensions:
  Flower: ½" (12 mm) wide
  Plant height: 24-32" (60-80 cm)

Blooming period: July-September

Habitat: Cultivated fields

Description: Whitish-yellow flowers in a more or less elongated inflorescence (cluster) blooming in sequence from the bottom up of the cluster. Lower leaves 2½-12" (6-30 cm) long, stalked, more-or-less pinnately lobed; upper leaves entire or toothed, clasping the stem. Mustard family. (July 13)
