Common name: Narrow-leaved Speedwell

Scientific name: Veronica scutellata

Dimensions:
    Flower: 1/8-1/4" (3-6 mm) wide
    Plant height: 4-16" (10-40 cm)

Blooming period: May-September

Habitat: Swamps and bogs

Description: Bluish flowers arising on individual stalks from leaf axils, 5-20 flowers per plant. Leaves opposite, lanceolate, 3/4-3" (2-8 cm) long, entire or with a few remote, divergent, slender small teeth. Figwort family. (July 19)
