Robin's Plantain

Common name: Robin's Plantain

Scientific name: Erigeron pulchellis

Dimensions:
    Flower: 1-1½" (2-3.5 cm) wide
    Plant height: 6-24" (15-60 cm)

Blooming period: April-June

Habitat: Open woods, fields, stream banks

Description: Pale lilac or magenta to pale
violet flower heads with large disk and numerous rays. Basal leaves narrowly oval, broader toward tip, bluntly toothed. Upper leaves alternate on stem softly haired. Aster family. (June 6)
