Scientific name: Rhus typhina

Dimensions:
    Flower: Clusters to 8" (20 cm) long,
    pyramidal shaped.
    Plant height: 3-30" (90-900 cm)

Blooming period: June - July

Habitat: Fields, clearings, dry soils

Description: Shrub or tree with branches covered by thick, velvety hairs. Flowers green to brownish in terminal clusters. Fruit reddish-brown covered with bright red hairs. Compound leaves of 10-20 toothed leaflets. Cashew family. (July 20)
