Scientific name: Rubus hispidus

Dimensions:
    Flower: 1/2-3/4" (1.5-2 cm) wide
    Plant height: Creeper; erect branches
    4-10" (10-25 cm)

Blooming period: June-August

Habitat: Moist thickets, open woods, and clearings

Description: Several to many white flowers on racemes or in leaf axils; 5 petals; 5 sepals; numerous stamens and pistils. Leaves 3-parted, shiny; each leaflet up to 2" (5 cm) long, ovate, toothed. Rose family. (July 9)
