Common name: Wild Columbine

Scientific name: Aquilegia canadensis

Dimensions:
    Flower: 1 - 2" (2.5 - 5 cm) long
    Plant height: 1 - 2' (30 - 60 cm)

Blooming period: April - July

Habitat: Rocky, wooded or open slopes

Description: Showy, drooping bells topped
with 5 backward-pointing spurs; leaves 4 - 6"
(10 - 15 cm) wide, divided into 3 lobes.
Buttercup family. (June 14)
